1/5/11 - More bad news

I woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep, so at 3:30am I went ahead and got my shower and went to the Hospice House to see my dad on my way to work.  I stayed for about 45 minutes, he wasn't doing well at all, and went to work.  I received a text from my mom that the doctor had been in to see him and she didn't think that he would make it any more than 24 hours.  I left work (3 hours into a 12 hour shift) as soon as I found out and went back to the Hospice House.  My family and I spent the rest of the day there with my dad.  He never did regain consciousness and passed away at 11:20pm.  Needless to say, there was no shopping today.
