4/16/11 - Kroger, Bath & Body Works, Dollar General, and 2 Freebies in the mail

Day 3 of working dayshift.  I met Chris at Subway after work and we had subs for dinner.  I dropped Kristen off at my mom's house so she could spend the night there and I printed a couple of coupons to take to Kroger with me.  I had seen that I could get free eggs and butter at Kroger if I had the Buy 2 Parkay products get Free Eggs e coupon and then 2 of the print coupons for $0.50 off Parkay product which would be doubled.  Parkay was on sale for $1.  I was also looking for dog food and dog treat deals because a co-worker and I were talking about pets.  I found out that she fosters rescue dogs for our local dog rescue organization.  She only keeps them for a short period of time but food and treats do get expensive.  She also always forgets about using coupons so she pays full price.  I told her I would see what I could find.  First the dog food then my personal purchase.

DOLLAR GENERAL

Looking for more dog food for my co-worker.  I had a $5 off $25 or more coupon at Dollar General that expires today.  I also had 2 $2.50 off a 14 lb. bag of Kibbles 'n Bits Dog Food that can only be used at Dollar General and some coupons for dog treats.  Nothing was on sale, but I had some good coupons.

For the 2 dog food transactions regular price was $42.15 and I paid $21.17  for a 52.96% savings.  My co-worker gave me $25 for the food and treats because she said she would have paid full price for them so she would give me some extra to pay for gas.

I also got 2 Freebies in the mail!!  I LOVE Freebies!!

The first freebie was samples of Dove Men+Care Body Wash and Deodorant and a $1 off Coupon for Dove Men+Care Body Wash or Bar and a $1 off Coupon for Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant/Deodorant.
