2/13/11 - No shopping
I didn't do any shopping today. I worked 18 hours today so there was no time for shopping today. Yes, the overtime ban was over, it was the start of a new 4 week period, I can work overtime again.
2/12/11 - Wal-Mart and Kroger
On the way home from work today I had to stop at Wal-Mart to get a wiper blade for my SUV. The one on the driver side broke. I also had a couple of coupons for Athenos Greek Yogurt so I thought I'd get some of it and try it (I've never had it before). Of course I didn't have a coupon for the wiper blade and it was on a separate receipt so it won't be in my savings post (by the way, I only paid $4.84 for the wiper blade)
After I left Wal-Mart I went to Kroger to pick up a few things there. I had some really good coupons that I had gotten from the catalina machine the last time I was shopping there and I wanted to use them. I did pretty good, some of the items I even made money on because I was given the full retail price of the item off instead of the sale price.

2/11/11 - Another Freebie
I got a sample of Crest White Strips and a coupon for $10 off on my next purchase of Crest White Strips. I have never bought any of these so I don't know how well they work or if I will use the coupon.
2/10/11 - Rite Aid again and a GOOD JC Penney coupon
Well, here we go again. It seems like I spend half of my life in Rite Aid (not really, just kidding), but I have found myself going there quite a bit since I discovered the +up Rewards and Video Values. This time I stopped in because I was having some really bad PMS and Chris was about to disown me (lol). I went out to get him a Chai Tea Latte at Starbucks and to get me some Pamprin or Midol. I decided on the Pamprin because it said it was good for iritability. I picked up some Pop-Tarts while I was there because I found a box that had a number on it (for the flavor card) that I didn't have. I also got some Cheez-Its for Kristen becasue that and Gold Fish are one of her favorite snacks.
Plus I got 2 $1 +up Rewards on the bottom of my receipt for a future purchase.
Not as much as some of my Rite Aid trips, but not too bad considering I only used 2 manufacturers coupons.
The bottom of my receipt now says I have $73.43 towards the $100 needed for the Winter Rewards. I don't think it's exactly right, but it's better than the $14.35 on my last receipt.
I also got a $10 off $10 or more when you use your JC Penney Card. I really like these coupons. If you go through the sales rack you can find some really good deals when you pair it up with this coupon. The last time I got one of these I got a shirt and a pair of pants for $2.13. I was really impressed. I also learned from my mom that if you use your JC Penney card to pay for your transaction you can then immediately make a payment on your card to cover the charge and you won't have to worry about paying it later when it's time for the monthly payment.

2/9/11 - Rite Aid again and a Freebie
I stopped at Rite Aid again because I needed bottled water again. Chris won't drink water from the sink, and my new coffee maker that I got for Christmas says to used bottled or filterer water. I picked up a couple of other things while I was there. This was a pretty good trip, great savings since I got my +up Rewards in the mail yesterday. I'm not very happy with Rite Aid now though. My receipt now says I only have $14.35 towards my $100 needed for the Winter Reward. My last receipt said $65.47. I called Customer Service and complained. Their response was that the Winter Rewards is not tracking properly and our IT department knows about it and is working to fix it. Keep your receipts and when you reach $100 call us back if your reward does not print and we will take care of it. I guess that's the same thing that happened with my Resolution Reward. It took over 2 weeks to get the reward but I did get it.
I also got 3 $1 +up Rewards that printed out at the end of my receipt.
My free sample in the mail today was Nexxus hair products and a $3 coupon on my next purchase.
The Beef Jerkey is missing from the picture. I ate it on the way home and then threw the package away before I thought about taking the picture.

2/8/11 - Mail from Rite Aid
I finally got a reply back from Rite Aid about my $20 +up Rewards for the Resolution Rewards bonus. I didn't get a letter or anything, but I did get my $20 +up Rewards. I actually liked getting this better than having it printed out on the bottom of my receipt. If it was on my receipt it would have been one $20 +up Reward. I actually received 6 $3 +up Rewards and a $2 +up Reward. This way I can spread it out over several transactions instead of having to use it for one transaction. It took 15 days from the day I called until the day I received the +up Rewards. It would have been much faster if it had printed on my receipt.
2/7/11 - 2 Freebies in the mail
No shopping today, but I did get a free sample of Prilosec OTC and a free sample of Beneful Incredibites in the mail today.
