12/19 - Bath & Body Works

This purchase took Kristen and I both to pull off.  We bothhad a coupon for a Free 2 oz. Island Escape Body Lotion.  This was the last day to be able to use this coupon.  We also had a coupon for a free lip item with any purchase.  I learned from some of the blogs that I frequently go to that you can usually purchase any of the items that are around the cash register for only $1 - $2 and still get the free item.  We got four 2 oz. bottles of Island Escape Body Lotion and 2 tubes of Gingerbread Lip Gloss for $2.12.  This was an incredible deal.  The original price would have been $29. This was an incredible 92.5% savings!!

12/19 - Victoria's Secret

Now for Christmas Shopping.  I almost forgot that I had gotten a $10 off your next purchase coupon from Victoria's Secret in the mail a couple of weeks ago.  As we were passing the store I remembered that it was in my purse so Kristen and I went in to look around.  We found gift boxes with perfumes and lotions in them on sale 40% off.  I had Kristen pick out one that she liked and we took it up to the cashier to pay for it.  This ended up being a pretty good visit.  We saved 79% on this order.

12/19 - Penn Station

After I got home from work we decided to go Christmas Shopping, but first we needed something to eat.  I wasn't in the mood to cook so we decided we would go out to eat, but where would we go.  A few days ago we talked about going to Penn Station but never made it there so we decided to go there tonight.  I did have a "2 Can Dine for $12.99" coupon to use, but there were 3 of us so it ended up costing more than $12.99 for dinner.  It actually ended up costing $21.19.  The coupon did give us $3.55 off our order though, not much, but I did use it anyway.  This visit only gave us 14% off, but it's better than paying full price.

12/19 - Rite-Aid

It seems like every time I come home from work anymore I stop someplace to get a deal.  This time I stopped at Rite-Aid.  I started taking Calcuim supplements about 3 months ago and saw that Rite-Aid had them on sale this week.  I purchased 2 containers of Viactiv Calcium Chews.  They were on sale, I had coupons for them, and they gave +up rewards.  I managed to save almost 52% on this stop.

12/18 - Freebie in the mail

I got another freebie in the mail today.  This one was Elmer's Craft Bond Glue Spots.  There were 8 small and 8 medium glue spots in the package.  The package also included a mail-in rebate for $3.48 if you purchase any2 Elmer's CraftBond products and one Elmer's Mini Bi-fold Foam Board from Wal-Mart.  These items have to be purchased by Dec. 31.

12/18 - CVS

I stopped at CVS on my way home from work.  When I was in there yesterday I saw 12 oz. Whitman's Sampler on sale.  They were regularly $9.99.  All of the boxes had a $7.99 sticker on them, and they were sitting next to a sign that said Buy 1 Get 1 Free.  I knew that I had coupons for the Whitman's sampler when I was there yesterday but I didn't have them with me.  Thus, my return trip.  I purchased 2 of them and had 2 $1 off coupons.

12/17 - Freebie

When I got home from work today there was a freebie in the mail.  This freebie was a Tylenol PM Sleep Solution Kit.  The kit contained a sleep guide & journal, a satin sleep mads, a CD of soothing sounds, and $12 worth of coupons.  There was also supposed to be a sample of Johnson's Melt Away Stress Lavender & Chamomile Lotion.  I couldn't find the lotion sample but the kit was pretty neat anyway.
