3/19/11 - No Shopping or Freebies
No Freebies in the mail today, and no shopping on my way home. I am soooooooo tired. 76 hours worked this week and I will be getting a start on next week tomorrow since it's the first day of the second week on our pay period and I'm scheduled to work. I did stop and pick up a pizza and wings on my way home, no coupons used. I ate, watched the Morehead/Richmond basketball game on television, soaked in the bath tub and then went to bed. 4am is WAY too early to get up!!!!!!!
3/18/11 - Rite Aid
I stopped at a different Rite Aid this evening on my way home from work. I've only been to this one once or twice before. It's really out of my way if I'm at home, but I have a 25 mile drive to work and this Rite Aid is about half way between my house and work. I had been looking for the Pruex Fabric Softener Crystals that were on sale and +up Rewards given. I had the coupon to go with it to make them FREE. Again, I don't use this, but my sister does so I got it to give to her.
I also got $2 +up Rewards for the Purex Crystals. This was acutally a $0.67 money maker because I only paid $1.22 and got $2 +up Rewards back.

3/17/11 - Rite Aid
I stopped in Rite Aid on my way home from work again. I really need to quit doing this. I had 2 $3 off Gain fabric softener or dryer sheet coupons. I knew they had the larger bottles and the 120 ct. dryer sheets on sale for $4.88, but I thought I would see if there were any for $3. I also needed to get Kristen some pencils for school. She likes the mechanical pencils and I had a Video Values coupon that I could use for the pencils. I found the 23 use Gain Liquid Fabric Softener for $2.99 so FREE Fabric Softener. I don't use the liquid fabric softener, I only use the dryer sheets but my sister will use it. Since I got it for FREE I gave it to her.
No +up Rewards on this receipt, but there was another survey code for $3 off $15 code.

I got a sample kit from Valspar with a small container of paint (I chose vanilla bean), a miniature paint tray and paint roller (for trim work), a $5 coupon for my next purchase of Valspar paint at Lowe's, 4 paint chips (1 was the color I chose and the other 3 were contrasting colors recommended to complement the color I chose).

I got a $10 off $10 or more coupon for JC Penney, a $10 off $10 or more coupon for Fashion Bug, and a free signature collection travel-size item of you choice (up to $5 value), no purchase necessary coupon from Bath & Body Works. 3/16/11 - Kroger, CVS, Rite Aid
OK, today is my only day off this week. I worked 12 hours Sunday night, 16 hours Monday night, 12 hours Tuesday night, and I will work 12 hours each Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dayshift. Way too many hours in 8 days. I had to make the best of my day off so I went shopping. Well, I only went shopping for about an hour, today is Kristen's Birthday and we are all going to Red Lobster to eat dinner (groan, expensive meal). It's her birthday so dinner is her choice.
I stopped at Kroger on my way home from work. CVS and Rite Aid was after I went home and got some sleep, then Red Lobster and Wal-Mart was after Kristen got home from school and her brother and his girlfriend made it out to the house. I did have 2 $4 off 2 dinner entrees that I used at Red Lobster but no coupons at Wal-Mart, which is where we got birthday cake and ice cream.

No pretty pictures for this trip. I forgot before I gave the 8 boxes of Pasta and the Pedigree Small Bites (from yesterday's trip) to my sister. I got those items free and I had plenty in my cabinet so I offered them to her.
CVS
After I got some sleep I headed out to shop. I had to get Kristen's Birthday present. She had already gotten part of it. I helped her pay for the silver trumpet that she wanted. She found it on sale for $249 + tax at Amazon.com I only had to help out with about $40, she had saved up the rest from her allowance and Christmas money. In addition to her trumpet, she was getting dinner at Red Lobster and iTunes gift cards (which were on sale at Rite Aid - $5 off $25 with in ad coupon). I stopped at CVS before Rite Aid though, I needed Coke for the refrigerator at work. I get the money back for 3 of the 12 packs of Coke.
I also got $9.99 ECB for the Tena, $5 ECB for the Coke Products, and $2 ECB for the Aussie, for a total of $16 ECB to use on a future purchase. I got $13.78 back for the Coke so I actually only spent $12 for personal use.
I still had to get Kristen's Birthday present (the $25 iTunes Gift Card). I was also looking for Clean & Clear Morning Burst in Shower Facial. Matthew wanted this, but couldn't find it. I acutally went to 3 different Rite Aid's before I found it. I did 2 separate transactions, the first was for the Clean & Clear and the second was for the iTunes Gift Card
These were my only real coupon savings for today. I did get $8 off the Red Lobster, but the bill was $156 (including tax and tip) so an $8 savings isn't very much. I guess it isn't too bad for 5 people, that comes out to $31.20/person.
